Paramount+ With Showtime is gearing up for spooky season. A bunch of vintage horror favorites, including all of the Friday the 13th films as well as some choice Stephen King adaptations, arrive on the service on Oct. 1.
If you’re not in the mood to be scared, this month also will see the launch of the fifth and final season of the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks (Oct. 24), which managed to move beyond its premise as a quasi-satire of the long-running franchise to become a Trek classic in its own right.
Also on tap: the season two premiere of Lioness (Oct. 27), the globe-trotting espionage thriller series from Yellowstone creator Tyler Sheridan, starring Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman.
