Jamie Foxx is returning to the world of stand-up comedy with his first Netflix special. It’s called Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… and by the look of things, he’s got a lot to say. 

It’s been roughly two decades since Foxx took the stage to make an audience laugh — and a year and a half since a medical complication put him in the hospital. With his Netflix special, the Oscar and Grammy winner is on a mission to clear up a few rumors. 

Spoiler: He’s neither dead nor a clone.

“If I can stay funny, then I can stay alive,” he says in the trailer below. “I’m back.”
