When it comes to meal kit delivery services, there’s no question that what you’re paying for is largely the convenience factor: having the correct ingredients on hand to prepare a certain recipe and having those ingredients pre-measured and often pre-cut, not to mention not having to make day-to-day decisions about what’s for dinner after you’ve already selected your meals for that week’s delivery.
We’ve previously calculated how meal kit delivery services stack up against grocery prices, and the findings aren’t surprising, even amid rising food costs nationwide.
