A few hours after Melania Trump sounded off on Jimmy Kimmel for what she claimed to be his “hateful and violent rhetoric,” President Donald Trump has weighed in with his thoughts on the matter—and also wants ABC to take immediate action against the Jimmy Kimmel Live host.
Kimmel caught backlash from the first lady for a monologue he delivered during Thursday night’s (April 23) Jimmy Kimmel Live, spoofing the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which was hosted by mentalist Oz Pearlman as opposed to the usual comedian.
During this segment, Kimmel joked that Melania has “a glow like an expectant widow.” The bit aired two nights before the actual White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night (April 25), where a shooting took place. The president laid into Kimmel this afternoon with a post on TruthSocial.
