Will Prime Video let AI call a live sports game?

All technology companies are embracing artificial intelligence to some extent or another, including streaming services. Platforms are integrating AI into their search functions and recommendation engines, all in the name of helping subscribers find new shows and videos and staying engaged.

But perhaps no company has so publicly embraced AI integrations on its platform like Prime Video, and that got me wondering: just how far down the AI rabbit hole is the service willing to take things? Backed by the deep pockets of Amazon, Prime Video can afford to try and fail, and I think its love affair with AI will prompt it to take bold new steps in 2026 — namely, by allowing an AI agent to call a sports game on the Prime Video platform.
