EXCLUSIVE: Your Honor, which was just revealed to be the top-selling scripted format of the decade, has landed its first remake in Latin America.
The Israeli series, which aired in the U.S. starring Bryan Cranston, will be remade by Brazil’s Teleimage, with broadcaster discussions underway.
Your Honor tells the story of a respected senior judge whose son is involved in a hit-and-run accident, leading to difficult choices, moral dilemmas, and terrible consequences as he attempts to keep the crime a secret. Cranston played the lead for Showtime’s version in the U.S. No word on casting yet for the Brazilian version.
Teleimage’s Your Honor is the 14th international adaptation. According to a K7 report last week, the yes Studios show is the joint-top-selling scriped format of the decade.
