Mark Consuelos helped Kelly Ripa out of a slightly sticky—and hairy—situation on Monday’s Live with Kelly and Mark.
The co-host couple danced their way onto the set of their daytime talk show on today’s episode before wishing everyone a “Happy National Puppy Day.”
“It’s observed each year on March 23,” Ripa shared. “I think we can all agree we never realize that it’s happening until we see our friends post pictures of their puppies on social media, like, three days later.”
Consuelos suddenly honed in on Ripa’s face, taking a moment to pick something off of her lip.
“You have a little hair stuck to your lipstick,” he explained. “There we go. I’m so sorry.”
While the audience found the interaction sweet, Ripa seized the moment to get some laughs.
“I wanted it there,” she quipped. “It’s all the rage. People are putting their hair in their lipstick.”
