EXCLUSIVE: Harriet Walter (Succession, Ted Lasso, Silo), Anne Reid (The Sixth Commandment, Last Tango in Halifax, The Mother), and Freddie Fox (House of the Dragon, Slow Horses, The Great) have been cast in recurring roles in Sharon Horgan‘s HBO comedy series Youth.
Starring Horgan, Youth follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown up son.
Horgan also writes and executive produces the series, which is produced by her prodco Merman (Amandaland, Bad Sisters, Vladimir). Additional executive producers are Faye Dorn for Merman, Jim Kleverweis, and Dawn Shadforth, who will also direct.
Walter is represented by Christian Hodell and Elizabeth Fieldhouse at Hamilton Hodell, and Tapestry. Reid is represented by Will Hollinshead at Independent Talent. Fox is represented by Chalcot Square Arts and Media Management.
