The 50th season of reality competition Survivor premiered on February 25, taking players back to Fiji for the 25th anniversary of the series. This season is officially titled Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans and this time the game is, you guessed it, in the hands of the fans. In Season 48, fans were allowed to vote on key elements of the game, hidden from contestants until they were on the island.
Hosted by Jeff Probst, the show follows a group of contestants (castaways) as they learn to survive in an isolated place while taking part in a series of competitions to win the title of Sole Survivor. In this season, iconic players from the show returned to compete once again, including Season 45’s winner Dee Valladares.
