Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie will be making a brave return to daytime television for the very first time since her mother Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
Savannah has not appeared on The Today Show since Jan. 30, just days before her mother was reported missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona. But the anchor has refused to hide from the public eye throughout the ongoing investigation, which still remains unsolved.
In her first interview about the case, Savannah opened up to her longtime friend and colleague Hoda Kotb about her decision to return to The Today Show, which she called “this beautiful place that we call home.”
