EXCLUSIVE: Hulu‘s limited series Count My Lies is adding Lou Diamond Phillips to its recurring cast. He will play Paul, the boyfriend of Tracy (Katherine LaNasa). We announced LaNasa’s casting yesterday; she is playing the mom of Shailene Woodley’s Sloan Caraway.
In Count My Lies, from Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, when compulsive liar Sloane fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lindsay Lohan) and Jay Lockhart (Kit Harington), it seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.
The series is based on the recently published debut novel by Sophie Stava, written by Aptaker and Berger, who executive produce via The Walk-Up Company and serve as showrunners. Also executive producing are Lohan, Woodley and Scott Morgan of The Walk-Up Company.
