Frontline, the PBS investigative documentary series produced at Boston’s GBH, is staffing up.

The series is expanding its newsroom with three new hires across documentary, digital video and audio.

Marjon Javadi joins as managing director of GBH’s longform non-fiction Documentary Unit. She previously spent six years at Disney, where she was VP, Original Documentary Film and Series, working on Disney+ projects including Jim Henson Idea Man.

She will work across Frontline, Nova and American Experience and will lead strategy and business partnerships for Frontline Features, its new arm to produce feature docs. That division has already produced 2000 Meters to Andriivka, Antidote and Status: Venezuela.

Nicki DeMarco joins as senior producer of digital and audience, focusing on expanding its social video reporting and building on its vertical video series For The Record. He previously co-led the launch of The Washington Post’s Creator Hub.
