NBC News Now To Debut New Show With Christine Romans, Streaming Channel To Expand To 14 Hours A Day Of Live Programming

NBC News Now will expand to 14 hours a day of live programming and add a two-hour show hosted by Christine Romans to its lineup.

Starting in the summer, Romans will anchor a 10 a.m. ET weekday show and take on a new role as chief business correspondent, working with the business and economy unit. Romans joined NBC News in 2023 after 24 years with CNN.

“At a moment when economic news and the forces shaping the global economy are increasingly central to the daily news cycle, we see a clear opportunity to deepen our coverage as markets open and top stories take shape,” Rebecca Blumenstein, president, editorial for NBC News, and Janelle Rodriguez, executive vice president of programming for NBC News, wrote in a memo to staffers.
