Nobody Dumps My Gaslighting Husband Father Killer! — Or, How I Stopped Worrying And Loved The Lifetime Movies Dominating The Netflix Top 10

Aficionados of the Netflix Top 10 are accustomed to seeing catalog titles from the (relatively recent) past pop up as subscribers discover or rediscover them on the service. At the moment, for example, Netflix viewers are pressing play on The Roommate, a Single White Female ripoff from 2011, with Leighton Meester. (Happy 15th anniversary!) They’re also checking out the recently-added smash Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which doesn’t feel like an “old” movie but has been around for nearly a decade.

But a couple of other recent Netflix-chart hits are less familiar, because they’re neither titles from other movie studios’ catalogs (like Sony, who licenses a lot to Netflix, including both of the aforementioned films), or splashy Netflix originals (like Thrash or the upcoming star-driven thriller Apex). Current Top 10 entries Husband Father Killer: The Alyssa Pladi Story and Nobody Dumps My Daughter are not obscure indies, or foreign-language films
