Bruce Campbell Says Cancer Diagnosis “Doesn’t Change Anything” With Latest Film: “The Priority Is This Movie”

Following his recent cancer diagnosis, Bruce Campbell is committed to promoting his latest movie.

The horror movie icon, who wrote, directed and stars in Ernie & Emma, explained that his “priority is this movie” despite recently announcing that he’s been diagnosed with a “treatable” but not “cureable” type of cancer.

“It doesn’t change anything for me,” he told USA Today. “It makes you prioritize 100 percent, and for me, the priority is this movie.”

In Ernie & Emma, Campbell plays a widowed pear salesman who travels to scatter his wife’s ashes, while replaying memories of their marriage along the way.
