EXCLUSIVE: Eric André (Little Brother) has found his next starring role on the film side in Synergy Systems, a genre-bender marking the directorial debut of writer Toby Harvard (Come to Daddy).
Synergy Systems is billed as a punk, action-charged, near-future thriller that follows terminally indecisive data analyst Bemis (André) as he uncovers that his employer, Synergy Systems, is a front for an apocalyptic doomsday plot. He’s then forced to do the unthinkable: step up as humanity’s last line of defense. The catch? He’s spineless, spectacularly unqualified, and wildly unprepared to save the world.
Steven Demmler will produce via Talon Entertainment (Atonement, Oh Canada), alongside Dane Eckerle and his Bad Grey label (I Love My Dad, Mermaid), and Iconoclast (Sacrifice, Spring Breakers). Talon’s Anthony F. Panza will serve as executive producer, with Cinetic Media handling worldwide sales.
