Here’s how to watch NASCAR’s short track race at Martinsville this weekend

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway this weekend for the Cook Out 400, and for the first time this season, we’re getting some good old-fashioned short track racing. The race goes down Sunday, March 29 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1, and this track is about as tricky as it gets. Martinsville is nicknamed “The Paperclip” for a reason. Long straightaways, super tight corners, and basically no room for mistakes. It’s the oldest track on the schedule, and it always turns into a grind with a lot of bumping, beating, and tempers starting to flare as the laps pile up. Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, and William Byron all come in as favorites here, but don’t sleep on Chase Elliott, who’s been consistently great at this track and feels due for a win.
