Foley can currently be seen in the recurring role of Dr. Seth McDale on ABC’s Will Trent, which was just renewed for a fifth season. Recently, Foley made his return to the big screen in the box office hit Scream 7, and starred in Netflix’s romantic comedy, La Dolce Villa, which debuted on Netflix as the most-watched title of the week with 19.8 million views achieved in just four days, according to the streamer.
In 2024, Foley starred in HBO Max’s political drama series, The Girls on the Bus, opposite Melissa Benoist. Before that, he headlined and produced ABC’s action dramedy Whiskey Cavalier, and starred in six seasons of ABC’s hit drama, Scandal, as Jake Ballard. His breakout role was in the J.J.
