Prime Video continues to expand on its original anime programming with new arrival Fist of the North Star. Based on the 1983-1988 manga serialization of the same name, this post-apocalyptic martial arts series serves as an updated, more faithful adaptation than the initial Toei Animation anime that ran from 1984-1988. Fist of the North Star takes place on a demolished Earth where violence reigns as humanity brawls for survival. Amongst them, one man uses his exceptional fighting ability to defend the weak and save the world.
Opening Shot: Inside some sort of empty palace or temple, muscular men Kenshiro (Shunsuke Takeuchi) and Shin (Kōji Yusa) ferociously fist fight to the death.
