Eric Kripke will be signing off of The Boys soon enough, but not without giving fans one final gift: The Supernatural reunion we’ve all been waiting for.
The hit Prime Video series, which premieres April 8 with two new episodes, will feature a highly anticipated showoff between The Boys star Jensen Ackles and his former Supernatural cast mates Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins. We wouldn’t call it a happy reunion; the trailer gives just a glimpse of a scene they share that shows Ackles’ Soldier Boy choking and lifting Collins off his feet as Padalecki watches in horror, which is all par of the course when it comes to The Boys.
Ackles recently told Decider it “was a lot of fun” to have Padalecki and Collins get a taste of the notoriously outrageous action The Boys has become known for under Kripke, who also created Supernatural.
