French bargain-hunting website Dealabs has dropped exclusive specifications and European pricing for the Xiaomi 17T phone series. The T-series has launched every single year between September and October without exception, going all the way back to the Mi 10T.
The new additions are reportedly launching around May 2026, roughly 4 months earlier than usual. Also, Xiaomi has skipped the 16th series to align its flagship naming and release cycle with Apple’s iPhone 17.
It’s supposed to make comparisons easier and more immediate in marketing and media, positioning the Xiaomi 17 as a direct rival. Although there are no clear renders available, here’s what to expect when they’re out.
Meet the Xiaomi 17T
The standard Xiaomi 17T is more compact than its predecessor, with a 6.59-inch screen down from the 15T’s 6.83-inch screen. It weighs 200g and measures 157.6 × 75.2 × 8.17mm. The display uses AMOLED technology with 1.5K resolution
